Thirteen ugly ties = one cute top. This item is entirely hand-stitched together in tiny x-stitches. There are literally thousands of x-stitches on the inside as you can see in the picture to the right. This top is very sturdy and rather heavy. I made it in my dorm room, sophomore year, so that would have been 1994. It has been in a couple art exhibits and a fashion show. It can be worn alone, with a long sleeved shirt underneath, or even at the waist as a skirt with the straps tucked in.

Measurements: 29 inches from shoulder to tip of tie, up to 34 inches at the bust.
